UT Service-Learning is geared toward uplifting community interests by equipping faculty, staff, and students to create and maintain meaningful and reciprocal service-learning partnerships. We are in the process of expanding our existing set of resources to help current and potential community partners navigate the process of partnering with UT in service-learning. Among these resources is the Community Partners Guide to Service-Learning, which combines best practices with strategies to strengthen the service-learning experience and avoid pitfalls.
If you are interested in becoming a community partner through partnering with a faculty member teaching a service-learning class, we invite you to complete the below intake form, or contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or (865) 974-9577. We will follow up with you within a week to schedule a site visit and discuss how to become a community partner.
UTSL will be reaching out to current service-learning community partners each semester to touch base and find out if there is anything we can do to enhance your experience. However, we invite you to contact us anytime to discuss your experience as a community partner.
UT Service-Learning strives to maintain working relationships and open channels of communication with community partners. Therefore, if the current year or semester is not a good fit for a service-learning opportunity with your organization, please consider connecting with us to create a partnership in the future.
